Podcast & Media Producer

Manage the complete production process of our podcast and media content from planning and recording to editing and publishing to help grow our reach and impact.

About The Role

We’re looking for someone who can take a podcast recording and make sure everything that needs to happen around it actually happens.

As our Podcast & Media Producer, you’ll initially take responsibility for coordinating the Partners in Profit podcast — from communicating with guests before they arrive through to reviewing the finished episode, getting it published and helping us understand what we can learn from it afterwards.

You won’t be expected to operate cameras, microphones or complicated studio equipment.

The founders will record the podcast and upload the raw footage. We also expect to work with specialist editors rather than asking you to personally edit every episode.

Your job is to join everything together.

You’ll liaise with guests, keep the recording schedule organised, brief and communicate with our editor, review edits, spot interesting moments within episodes and make sure finished content gets where it needs to go.

You’ll also work closely with our Content & Community Manager to think about what else we could create from the conversations we’re having.

As the podcast grows, some of the more routine social media and publishing activity will move to specialist members of the team, allowing this role to develop in the direction that best fits your strengths and the needs of the business.

You don’t need to arrive knowing how to do every part of podcast production.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, curious, comfortable communicating with lots of different people and has a good instinct for interesting content.

We’ll teach you the rest.
